Lake Run
21.1 km · Half Marathon
A Race Through Every Kind of Beauty. This race felt less like a race and more like a journey through a changing landscape. Some section of the run was on gravel roads, other on stretches of smooth tar, trees lining the route, village homes, cows wandering by, and a lake opening up into the distance. There was hardly any vehicular noise, just footsteps (tap tap tap), and the occasional sounds of village life. Every turn brought something new; one moment you were running beside the lake, the next through a village, then under a canopy of trees, and suddenly back into the city. It was unpredictable in the best possible way.A scenic mix of lake, village, trees, gravel, tar, and city; all woven into one beautiful run.
